my name is André, I'm from Germany and currently looking for an Evo IX. I don't speak Spanish unfortunately, but hopefully English works aswell.
I was hoping that maybe someone here can help me out with an Evo I'm interested in. This is the car in question:

Unfortunatelly the seller can't provide any documents on the histroy of the car, no service bills, nothing. That means I can't validate the mileage, if it had any accidents or anything for that matter. What makes matters worse is that the car is fully painted (was lemon yellow from factory), maybe because of a prior accident?!

My hope was that maybe someone here knows the car or the prior owner? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hi André, welcome to the forum. I live in Bilbao, not far from Stradale. I don´t know about the seller or his company, but know somebody who can tell me about it. Tomorrow I´ll phone him and let´s see what happen. Anyway, I warn you, here in Spain, great part of those companys aren´t honest with mileage or car history. I´m not saying this case is one of those, but that´s the sad reality.
Well, I´ll give you some news in the next days. I hope someone more in this Club/forum can help you in some way.

Stradale seems to deal with some high end and rare sportcars (Porsche GT, Ferrari, Lancia Deltas...) now this must not mean anything, but a dealer that sells such expensive cars must be very careful with his reputation I would assume. So selling tempered Evos wouldn't be a good look for them.
I should also tell you that Stradale is selling the car on behalf of Landimport. I was in touch with Fernando Plaza from Landimport, he owns car and provided the VIN, CoC document, etc. He says the car ws owned by a friend of his who was a mechanic for Mitsubishi. When the car came in used at the dealership he was working at, he bought it and built it to his liking. Now his family is expanding and the Evo had to go.
I don't know what Evo IXs sell for in Spain at the moment, but the car hasn't sold for almost a year (Stradale first posted it in April of 2021 on their Instagram). Maybe because despite having no history it is quite expensive at almost 45.000€, but maybe because everyone who looked at it found something they didn't like.
They provided me with a video that showed some rust on the undercarriage, it definately needs to be stripped and sealed again there.

But we'll see, I really look forward to what your friend has to say about stradale.Again, thank you very much for your help :)
